FIF#69

SOOC:
Fix:

The first thing I did was a curves adjustment. Then I used TRA Boutwell Magic Glasses. Then I did another curves adjustment via layer mask around the edges at 70%. I added a cooling filter at 33% and lightened the red hues, and cropped it 12x12.
Cute picture!

FIF #68

Original:

My Fix:

The first thing I did was adjust the curves in several layers:
For color, around the edges and shadows.
I dodged the skin shadows, sharpened with slice like a ninja by TRA, and added a warming filter.
I also desaturated the reds a tad.
When editing, I always save cropping for last. Or wait until ordering to crop.

And that is all she wrote...........

Thanks for stopping by!

Mr. Seven

This is my oldest child. His face is changing shape as he grows into his adult teeth. I've been trying to get some decent pics of him but for some reason every time I get a real smile out of him, he looks away. He really challenges me to be funny and crafty. I love this awkward stage!

FIF#66

I love editing photos. It goes a step further in allowing my creative juices to flow.

DFW Photographer ~Sneak Peek

This was quite the experience. My first commissioned wedding. I love, love! I love romance, and passion, and finding the unique connection between two people. My plan and dream is to be a wedding photographer. I figured I have the next three years to get acquainted with the wedding world, because when my youngest starts kindergarten, my hope is to be a full time wedding photographer. This sweet couple found me by word of mouth, and took a risk on me, with no experience, to capture a very special day. Thank you both for entrusting me with this! I will never forget it!

These shoes were made for walking!
These are a few of my top favs.....

Here she sees her groom arriving at the church...

POP goes the cork...This has to be my most favorite;)

I hope you enjoyed these select few and I can't wait to reveal the rest!

Happy Independence

I decided I'd try some timed exposures with fireworks. There were so many great pics it was hard to narrow them down.

This is one of my favorites! As the firework opened up I released the shutter just in time to capture what looks like a dove at the top of this one.

Saturn in the middle...

one for the crazies...

Another fav.....
These were choreographed to music on 98.7, it was amazing! We had a great time celebrating. Thank you God for our beautiful country!
